Welcome to the website of Trefeurig community, a community in North Ceredigion that includes Penrhyn-coch, Salem, Pen-bont Rhydybeddau, Cwmsymlog, Cwmerfyn, Banc-y-darren, Cefn-llwyd and Capel Madog.

The website has been established as part of the Powerhouse Scheme, an innovative project, run jointly by CERED and Theatr Felin-fach, whose aim is to encourage community activity.

The website will provide an opportunity to portray the life of Trefeurig Community as it is today, focusing on the clubs and societies flourishing in the locality. We hope that local people as well as those living elsewhere who are interested in the area will use the website and add to the existing material, so that the life of the community will be reflected as fully as possible.

Naturally the Welsh language is important to this area, and it is hoped that the website will raise awareness of the language and be a means of encouraging further use. Both languages will be used on the website.
